RangBodhini For Empowerment

RangBodhini – Realisation of Self Through Art

RangBodhini is Gavaksh India’s annual art-based programme designed to nurture self-awareness, self-expression, and co-creation among children in rural Palwal (Likhi & Sehnoli). Led by Artist & Educator Rupesh Sharma, the initiative transforms classrooms into creative and reflective spaces where children explore emotions, share stories, and express themselves confidently through art.

In these rural communities, children often grow up with limited opportunities for expressive learning. Academic pressure, social expectations, and economic constraints—along with literacy rates below 60%—leave little room for creativity or emotional exploration. RangBodhini bridges this gap through expressive arts, storytelling, and sharing circles, helping children build emotional resilience, confidence, and meaningful connections. The programme empowers them to understand their inner world and communicate with clarity and courage.

Impact:

Over the past three years, RangBodhini has enabled children who once struggled to express themselves to confidently communicate their thoughts and feelings through art. Their work has been showcased in exhibitions, calendars, and community displays, reinforcing pride and self-belief.

3 Years | 500+ Children | 50+ Workshops | 300+ Artworks
