Mandala Workshop With Rupesh Sharma
From June 9th to 15th, 2023, Rupesh Sharma, co-founder of Skill Share Art Academy and founder of An Art Amity, led a transformative six-day Mandala Art workshop at the Likhi Centre. This workshop helped children tap into their creativity and emotional resilience through the ancient art form of Mandalas.
Workshop Highlights:
Day 1
The children embarked on a storytelling journey, using art to express their imaginative stories.
Day 2
Focused on the fundamentals of Mandala Art, teaching meditation through design.
Day 3
GavaKsh’s eighth anniversary celebration, with dance, laughter, and special guests.
Day 4-5
Students explored technical aspects and created intricate Mandala designs.
Day 6
Advanced Mandala techniques, incorporating human forms and 3D elements.
Day 7
The workshop concluded with a showcase of the children’s creations, marking their growth and newfound skills.
Objective:
The workshop not only fostered artistic expression but also encouraged mindfulness, self-confidence, and focus, proving Mandala Art to be a powerful tool for personal growth.
