As someone deeply passionate about creativity and storytelling, I believe education should go beyond textbooks and ignite curiosity. GavaKsh has given me the opportunity to nurture young minds, helping them explore their potential through innovative learning methods. Witnessing these children grow in confidence and skills has been incredibly rewarding. Being a part of GavaKsh is more than just volunteering—it’s a journey of shared learning, inspiration, and empowerment.

Rahul Sharma is the co-founder of the Phoenix Literature Festival and Schools of Creativity. A best-selling author of 12 books, award-winning marketer, and a public speaker, he brings a wealth of experience in content, storytelling, and branding. Currently, he serves as a content consultant at ExamFactor (an ABP initiative). His commitment to driving positive societal change earned him a nomination for the prestigious REX Karamveer Chakra Youth Fellowship in July 2020.

With a master’s degree in social work and a diverse professional background as a mental health counselor, school in-charge, office manager, recruiter, and HR professional, I bring a unique blend of skills to drive holistic development programs. Being a published author and social worker, I value the recognition I’ve received, but my true reward lies in witnessing the transformation of young lives. I believe every child deserves an equal chance to shine, and through GavaKsh, I am committed to creating safe spaces where dreams can take flight. Growing up in a village, I experienced firsthand the struggles and deprivations faced by children in such communities, including a lack of access to quality education. These experiences inspired me to join GavaKsh and dedicate myself to breaking these barriers for others. At GavaKsh Pathshala, I focus on providing not only academic support but also holistic education, including training in English speaking, personality development, art, music, dance, and theater. Through this comprehensive approach, we aim to empower children to dream bigger and achieve their full potential.

As an advocate for education and children’s welfare, I firmly believe financial constraints should never hinder a child’s access to learning. This belief drives my work as the Centre Head of GavaKsh Pathshala, Likhi. With a B.Tech and MBA, along with 8 years of teaching experience, I approach education with love and compassion, making learning a joyful experience for my students. By listening to their concerns and engaging them through playful activities, I aim to be both a mentor and a friend. The love and respect I receive from my students and their families are my greatest rewards. These children are like family to me, and I’m honored to guide them as an elder brother, helping them build brighter futures with care and dedication.
