Diwali, the most look forwarded festival in India is a festival of lights and celebrations. We, at GavaKsh ensured that the festival be celebrated in its true spirit. Cleaning out our little haven, the GavaKsh campus and the surrounding area, white washing it and decorating it with flowers and diyas and rejoicing the evening with traditional music and dance. The festival is about spreading happiness and the young GavaKshars ensured that there be no house in the vicinity without light. Little kids went door-to-door to illuminate the entrances with diyas. This Diwali was all about joy and happiness and no crackers.
